Major Christopher A. Baker is a PhD student in the School of Construction Management Technology at
His research focuses on the use of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle equipped with
thermal image and low-light RGB camera to detect structural damage which would result in reduction of
load carrying capacity of the bridge. As an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army, Major Baker has planned
for and conducted Defense CBRN Response Force (DCRF) at Vibrant Response Command Post Exercise at
Camp Atterbury, IN as well as route clearance and route reconnaissance operations while deployed.
